Vicky's Secret Valentine Panties Shopping Report by demi rose

One of the reasons that I published my Valentine's Day Assignment is so that submissives who aren't in a place to train with me can also take part, either alone or with their own Dommes. demi is one of those gurls, and I'm very happy to be publishing her report.

i fell under the sway of Mistress Magick almost by accident. i recently began a Twitter account, a place for me to indulge my more feminine side, and post those things that perhaps couldn't or shouldn't be put up on Facebook, where friends and family that don't know, and/or don't need to know, of such things, could see.

Searching around, i came upon a hashtag that caught my eye: #DailyPanties. A fun game to play, i thought, and entered what was to be the first of many tweets regarding my undies of the day. i did this without realizing that Mistress Magick had said hashtag registered as Hers. Needless to say, it brought me to Her attention, and i am very glad it did. Alas, i am not in a position to offer myself up for training, but Mistress Magick is a compelling, intelligent Woman, and worth what little tribute i can offer to Her.

While I originally developed the hash tag for training my boys, I find it to be "the more, the merrier" and a great way for pantyboys, sissies, etc to support each other. (The one rule is "genetic males only" in as far as tweeting their panties, but females are welcome to offer their support and encouragement.) Simply tweet a description and/or pic of your panties with the #DailyPanties hash tag to join in. Then you can search on the tag to see what everyone else is wearing.]

In this case, that involved going onto Amazon and downloading Her Valentine's Day assignment. A relatively simple assignment: research some panties, purchase them, do NOT wear them until Valentine's, and then wear them for 24 hours. Not terribly complex, and certainly fun for all involved. i also continued to chat with Mistress Magick via Twitter, ultimately agreeing to write this report for Her. She has been a delight to chat with, and extremely generous in making me feel welcome into Her world, even if just at the fringes. [Thank you, sweetie. I wouldn't talk to you if you weren't showing yourself worth of it. ~M]

Which brings us here...

The assignment called for research, either online or off. The area i live in has an unfortunate dearth of good lingerie shops, so i knew that ultimately, i was all but assured to be shopping at Victoria's Secret. But before then...

I began my search at BodyAware.com, an online shop that specializes in making girly underwear for men. Obviously, buying something here was out of the question, as the assignment clearly stated that the purchase must be made in person. But, i'll take any excuse to peruse this site!

Style wasn't specified under Mistress Magick's rules, as She wanted her bois and gurls to find a style that was right for them, so i looked at a couple of different styles. The first was a Flutter Lace Tanga (upper left), which is available in four different colors . i love tanga panties...a bit of back coverage, while still having the sexy feel of a thong. And i absolutely adore lace. So this would have been a winner under different circumstances.

My love of lace brought me to the second style from BodyAware: their Velvet & Lace Party Pants. Boyshorts are another favorite of mine. They provide a little more support in the front than most panties, and a unadorned pair can often be passed off as boy undies, if need be. These, however: not so much on the unadorned. The sheer lace back coupled with the velvet-lined codpiece had me squirming a little bit, and these went into the "remember for later" column. [Not to mention that they aren't available in red! However, I must admit, I might like to see a couple of my boys in these as well! VERY sexy! ~ M]

Reluctantly moving on, i journeyed over to Frederick's of Hollywood. i am a big fan of Frederick's, and bemoan the fact that the nearest shop is close to an hour away. But it was still in travel distance, so it was more in keeping with the assignment than my first stop. Clicking on their Valentine's Day link, and then on "Passion for Panties", i smiled at the wonderful selection. i really am something of a panty slut, and Frederick's always seems a little more fun and unpretentious, compared to Victoria's (not that i dislike Victoria's). [They are! And they carry a wider range of sizes... although not as many plus items as they used to.]

So, spoiled for choice, i narrowed it down to two selections, both thongs. The first was their Feel Pretty Floral Lace-Up Thong  in red and black (upper left)). The sheer lace front spoke to me, of course, but it was the laces that really did it for me with this pair. Front and center, i couldn't help but think of being tied up looking at these panties. Definitely a good thing! The second pair was their Plume Satin Thong. Lace panties, a satin bow in the back, with a cute little plumed tail that spoke to the wanna-be pet in me. Apparently, Frederick's speaks driectly to my fetishes, which might be why i like them so much.

On to Victoria's. Looking through their website, i was unable to make any decisions about which pairs i liked most, so i left it up to fate. My shopping trip was, by necessity, somewhat quick, but successful. i was welcomed almost immediately by a pretty brunette, short and curvy, who was happy to let me browse but never strayed far. i took a few moments to walk the store, happy as always to be in this haven of feminine beauty, before letting my eyes roam and see what caught them. Several items, obviously. The "Unwrap Me" String Bikini (left) drew my attention, as did their Ruffled Cheeky Panty (right).

[With the side ties and back Valentine-specific design, the "Unwrap Me" bikini would have been my first choice, but I think the ones you selected are quite lovely and more than acceptable as well. ~M]

But what really caught my eye was the pair i had seen when i first walked in: the Lacy Cheeky Panty. Sheer pink, with a pink ribbon bow at the front, and a larger bow in the back. i loved them. The matching bra was lovely as well, but alas, out of my price range for this trip. i looked around and didn't see any but the display.

Asking the salesgirl, she quickly was able to find me the last pair on the floor. it was a little hard to concentrate as she picked them up and held them out for me to see, while asking if i wanted the matching bra as well. i said yes initially, before realizing two things: The first, and honestly least compelling, was the price. The second was a realization of how long it had been since i last measured my bust, and had no idea what size to get. my face was flushed at least a little as i backed down on the bra, explaining (truthfully) that every time i tried buying a bra for my Wife, i invariably purchased the wrong size.

The salesgirl was friendly and completely understanding, though there was something about her manner that led me to believe she had her suspicions. Wishful thinking on my part, perhaps. Regardless, she folded the panties nicely and directed me to the checkout counter. The salesclerks there were not nearly as friendly, or as helpful, as has been my experience in the past at this particular shop. Blame it on overwork, perhaps. the clerk wrapped the panties in pink tissue and put them into a small VS bag while i completed my purchase, and i left to return to the rest of my day.

As always, the desire to try on my new panties has been almost overwhelming, but the anticipation will make it that much better when i finally do slide them on.
